What are some fun and great brain games for adults?

My husband loves to play Sudoku and other handheld games which he calls brain games. He said these type of games are very helpful not only for adults but children to improve mental functioning and prevent brain aging in adult. These games are fun to play too like the puzzles, trivia, and logic. What are the best brain games for adults that are found online?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

One online game I find really fun and mentally stimulating is FreeRice. FreeRice is a continuing flow of questions asking you to identify or define something specific. You can choose what category you would like to play, and the options are art, chemistry, math, language learning, english, or geography. The best part of the website, however, is that every time you get a question correct, the United Nations World Food Program donates ten grains of rice to the World Food Programme. Not only are you helping yourself, but you are also helping others.

Another great website to check out is Yahoo! Games. It provides a whole slew of games for free and for pay. For brain games, I suggest first taking a look at their puzzle game section.

According to switched.com best top 11 free brain games are:

WordCrunch
MarsMoney
Grow Cube
Desktop Tower Defense
Pitch Black
Numbology
Wordle
Four Second Fury
Phit
Color Lines
What Word?

Below I found a video for WordCrunch. The point of the game is to find the given words on a table full of letters. Even if it sounds easy, it’s not. Especially, later in the game. WordCrunch tests your vocabulary and mental speed. The game is free to play and you can access it here:

And here is the video:

Grow Cube can be accessed here:

You will find that this game is interesting and very addictive!
The point of the game is to add objects and level up a cube. These objects will help you create an entire community!
