What are some comparisons between religion and faith with no religion?

Could faith be defined as belief in natural energy and all natural science? Does religion have to encompass a scared religious doctrine?

As human beings, we all have faith in something or someone. Not everyone goes to church or even believes in God. But, they all believe in something or someone, even if that someone is themselves. The Bible tells us that we cannot please God without faith but we have to decide who we want to please. Humanism is a belief system many adhere to that teaches an opposite view.
Wikipedia defines Humanism as an approach in study, philosophy, or practice that focuses on human values and concerns. The term can mean several things. Modern meanings of the word have come to be associated with a rejection of appeals to the supernatural or to some higher authority. It sees moral values as relative and changing and varying from person to person.
Humanism sees man as basically good and teaches that people should feel good about themselves regardless of their behavior while it tries to deal with guilt by positive self-talk.
Humanism believes that since man is merely a highly evolved animal, some human life is not so special. It therefore is supportive of abortion, euthanasia, and even infanticide in some cases.
Humanism believes that since this physical life is all there is, the goal is to get as much happiness and gain as many things as possible before time runs out and existence ends.
Wikipedia defines Christianity as the label that has been widely accepted by the secular and church-world to describe the practice of faith by the followers or disciples of Jesus Christ.
Christianity believes that man has a sin nature and tends to do evil things.
Christianity realizes that people have great value and worth because we are created in the image of God and for God’s glory.
Christianity believes that God has made each person very unique and special and for His glory.
Christianity realizes that God has a great purpose for each of us and teaches that through repentance and faith in Christ we can have our sin forgiven and be made into new creatures.
Christianity believes that man is created in the image of God and for the purposes of God. Therefore, all life is precious and abortion, euthanasia, and infanticide are considered to be horrific sins.
Christianity teaches that man needs to make decisions on the basis of what will bring God the most glory and that this life is ultimately very brief compared to eternity.
Whatever decision a person makes about their belief, it should be based on research, comparison and heartfelt inner searching.
