What are some clean safe dog parks in Philadelphia, PA?
I'm looking for dog parks with responsible owners that clean up after their dogs and don't bring aggressive dogs.

Hi @courtney 58 -
I understand your frustration. I have found it hard to find a place that I trust to take my dog too.
Checking out the local parks in your area, I did find Schuylkill Rive Park Dog Run. Have you been there before? It looks awesome! http://phillyfido.org/
They encourage membership and participation in keeping the park poop and aggressive free.
Here is their list of rules and regulations: http://phillyfido.org/2010/09/rules-regulations/
I hope that their location isn't too far out of the way. (25th and Spruce Street, just South of Walnut Street) It looks like they have two areas in this park. One for large and one for smaller dogs.
Dogster offers a decent list of other parks, but it doesn't list all the details of rules and such.

The last time I lived in a big city with my dog, I just had to visit them for myself to see if I liked the location and the people and dogs that frequent them.
Good luck!

Thanks for the great answer! You've given me some parks to check out and hopefully I'll find the right one. I like the ones that require membership as they are usually the ones with responsible dog owners.
