What are some birthday ideas for a 19 year old?

Sister is turning 19 soon, and we can't come up with anything. I'm just looking for general ideas. The following are out: clubs, ice skating, movies, at-home games, fancy dinner. She wants something unique that she can do with about 15 of her friends.
Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

Hit the Disc,
Have a quite dinner
Watch a good movie (or combine with the above)
Get a mid-night walk at the beach.
Play Wii (if you own one) it could be fun to play together or with your friends.
Play music and dance all night long.
Make a long-holiday plan and go out of town.
Go hiking.
Order delicious meal and have it over a good DVD movie.
Play in-door party games.
Whew! Those were a lot. Hope you found them useful!

How about renting a room where they have the big, bouncy-house items? They do this for corporate events.

I'm a 18 year old girl and i'm currently in the process of organising my 19th. i'm sorry but if my sister organised a bowling party/lazer tag party for me and my friends i would die of embarrassment. Some ideas i have come up with so far have been...

A day at the races - beautiful dresses, hats, champagne, Hors d'oevres - a perfect way to celebrate with girlfriends.

High Tea - many hotels provide a high tea service. Again its a chance to dress up, and have a great time with girlfriends. Classy way to celebrate a 19th.

Spa Day is a great idea!

Cocktail party - get a professional bartender in to teach your sister and frineds

I also think a weekend away with friends is a great idea, head to the beach and relax.

A sailing trip would be cool, hire and boat a crew and teach the girls how to sail, pull into a bay for a picnic lunch and a swim.

Hope this helps.

I also endorse lazer tag, and Canada if you live within a reasonable distance of the border. However, it really depends what kind of stuff the birthday girl is into. If she's sporty, a few hours of basketball at a local rec center might be fun, if she's a gamer, maybe a LAN party with 15 friends would be fun. Not sure what part of the country you live in, so the weather may not allow for something like go-karting or mini-golf.

Rent a cabin/condo/house outside of town (perhaps in the country) with amenities that will please the group (e.g., sauna, pool, swimming beach) and let the group 'bond' during a 3 day vacation together. You, as sister (perhaps with a friend) could offer to prepare meals and do other things to make the get-away special.

How about taking her to a bowling alley or play a game of Whirly Ball, Mini Golf, Rock Climbing, Arcade Room, or Laser Tag? After have a little party with some pizza or snacks!

I second laser tag! 15 is a great number for this, it's super fun, but everyone will need a shower afterward because it gets sweaty.

When i was 19 i went to Niagra falls in Canada. There is a 19 year old drinking and gambling age. so the site seeing/casinos would be fun.

Here's a few:
* Outdoor picnic if you live in a warm weather location.
* Swimming pool party if you live in a warm weather location.
* Spa Party at your local spa club with the full treatment.
* Sight seeing party of your local hotspots.
* Cruise party.

I believe anything would be fine as long as she's with her loved ones.

I don't know what area you live in, but a casino could be fun, or horseback riding, a local amusement park, a bonfire at the beach, book a day at the spa, bowling, paintball .....
