What are options for survey software that can provide instant answer "analysis"?
I don't know anything about the segment and I'm looking for a jump start on research.
I prefer software that is hosted and simple to use. Doesn't have to be free, but cost is a factor since we only need this sporadically -- probably a handful of surveys and a few thousand responses each).
Throw out suggestions. The best answer will be the one that gives a nice overview of options, and summarizes the pros and cons of each.
Thanks in advance!
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Pulseware - an Aust company that offers free trial and packages. Would host your survey for you. It allows you to be notified instantly of results in some cases ( the example they use is where a salesperson gets a bad customer rating )

M$Often times sites that offer a free version have a for-fee option. This is one of those sites. If your survey is more sophisticated than the free one can accomodate, you can go a lot further for about $20 a month. http://www.surveymonkey.com/Home_Pricing.aspx
