What are infrasonic waves?

Tip for best answer: M$3.01
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Infrasonic waves are the sound waves produced at a frequency lower than 20 Hz (Hertz) or cycles per second. These are sound waves inaudible by the human ear.

Vic Tandy wrote a paper titled, "The Ghost in the Machine" where he identified that such low frequencies may actually cause visual disruptions as the sound waves interact with the human eye.
