What are green products?
What is the exact definition of 'green'? I've heard several definitions for 'green' that I am confused, so what does green mean exactly?

Hello!
The term “green” can have a few different meanings, depending on what sense of the word you mean.
When the term is used to describe modern buildings, it means the design and construction are better for the environment. These buildings are equipped to conserve the earth’s resources as much as possible.
The phrase “going green” essentially means using methods to preserve the world and its environment on a daily basis. In some cases, “going green” is considered to be a lifestyle. Individuals who choose to lead a green lifestyle base their actions and efforts on saving the world. Some examples of actions these individuals would take are recycling, reduced oil-based energy usage, and purchasing only “green” products.
Products that are organic and chemical free are considered “green”. Some common green products are hybrid vehicles, home appliances with the Energy Star rating, and chemical free cleaning products. Unfortunately, these goods tend to be considerably more expensive.
