Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Hey, you wont find anyone t fund you here, but this is what you can do...

Firstly, there are a number of competitions being conducted by reputed organisations in India, such as the India Today group, the Economic Times, and the ISB at Hyderabad. These are basically business plan competitions, and they can get you a good amount of funding if you can provide a comprehensive and financially viable proposal.

Alternatively, if you are only looking at the market for software exports, then you can approach an angel investor, which will not only fund your efforts, but also do a lot of and-holding, ie. equip you in areas where you lack expertise. They can be found in job fairs and online as well.

Lastly, try out the Venture Capital organisations, which are usually a better bet, and easier to approach. But they will demand a lot from you initially, in terms of your specific plans, and will want to know everything about your strategies to run the business. They too can be found on India-specific website lists, and through VC directories published by some magazines/newspapers.

Good luck with your venture!

You should check out iAccelerator

http://www.iaccelerator.org

iAccelerator is modeled after the popular YCombinator.

iAccelerator is directed by Freeman Murray, and it will be conducted at IIM Amhedabad. It's an intensive startup assistance program which is aimed at those who live in India and who are first time entrepreneurs.

You never know! It's worth a shot, as maybe they have the new idea with the software company.

If it's anything like Y Combinator, they won't invest in a company that just offers web development skills for hire. People like that are interested in finding new ideas that could make it huge.
