What are good books in the "hacker lit" genre? Example: I loved Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Have you read Neal Stephenson's Cryptonomicon? I enjoyed it more and found the historical parts very interesting.

Its definitely heavy with history. I loved all the code breaking stuff myself.

I've started reading it, but it's taking me a while trying to get into it. I think I might like Sci-Fi in present or future time better.
