What are good and inexpensive (or free) weight loss programs? Any ideas?

Exercise. Eat lots of fruits and veggies. Drink plenty of water and 100% fruit juices or fruit smoothies for snacking. If you have the time make your own food at home so you can control what goes into your body. Go for low calories meals as opposed to dining in your favorite greasy fast food chains.

Firstly concentrate on your diet and plan it carefully and follow it accordingly.Do not opt for junk food, high caloric food.Make a habit of eating vegetable salads before one hour of your meals. Reduce the quantity of carbohydrates in your diet. Go for a walk for about an hour after the dinner. Practice Exercising.And also better to practice meditation.
