What are good anatomy experiments to do for college?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

A common anatomy experiment done with both high school and college anatomy classes is the dissection of a cat. They say this is because the cat’s internal organs are most similar to that of a human. They are in the same place and have the same functions. (I believe a dog's are like that too, however it's frowned upon to dissect dogs.) This is a good experiment in identifying the organs in the human body; where they are, what they do, and what they are connected to.

Another good experiment is the dissection of a cow's eye. This experiment is used to learn about the anatomy of the human eye. A cow's eye has similar properties that the human eye does. When looking at a cow’s eye you are able to identify things like the viscous humor, the optic nerve, and the pupil/iris area.
