What are going to be the top selling Christmas Gifts this year for Children?

...do we have Mahalo pages for them yet?
Tip for best answer: M$3.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

My prediction is that Elmo will top the charts once again. Something about these Elmo gloves really makes me think that this will be a top selling Christmas Gift. Watch the video, and see for yourself.

Yes, there is a page for them here:

Elmo Tickle Hands

My reasons why:

1. Most all children have hands
2. There is a song that goes with the toy
3. Elmo and "tickle me" toys continue to be a top Christmas Gift
4. It's under $30

I also like the Twilight Turtle which I started to create a page on, so anyone can add to this page if you like or know anything about this.

I'm not sure it's a "toy" in the sense that children will play with, yet it's necessary because children need this sleep aid, as many children are challenged to sleep, and are even afraid of the dark.

I think it's an excellent item.

Here are some reasons why I like it.

1. Children and parents need it to sleep
2. Parents need it to sleep
3. Children are afraid of the dark and it helps overcome their fear
4. It's more interesting than traditional night lights

I personally think dpeending on age of course but one of the top selling items or categories atleast will be the Nintendo DS or DSi and all of it's accessories and games. Since the system is so kid friendly and it offers games to help teach children and they have fun learning not only will it be highly wanted form children but parents will be happy to buy it for them because who doesn't want their child to learn, and to enjoy it. :)

That's a good prediction, I remember in the early '90s the Nintendo Gameboy was the big Xmas gift. I guess the more things changes, they more they stay the same.

I own a product comparison site, shoptimesaver.com and i know that the wii is selling very well still, I wouldn't doubt at christmas it will be just the same.

I hope this helps.

Thanks Mike !
