What are your favorite books by John Grisham?

As a teenage I read a lot of romantic live-ever-after books until a friend introduced me to the world of thrillers. I started with John Grisham’s book titled ‘’ A Time To Kill’’ and since that day I have become hooked to his books. I loved how the end always takes the reader by surprise and also how unpredictable the story line used to be. I have also read’’ The Firm’’,’’ The Pelican Brief and ‘’ The Innocent Man’’—all by Grisham. My favorite is ‘’The Firm’’, which of his books are your favorites?

I go with The Firm--but Street Lawyer and Runaway Jury were good, too.

Portions of The Pelican Brief were filmed in a building next door to where I used to work in DC. The scene with the escalators up to the lawyer's office and when the receptionist walks around the building behind glass...actually filmed in an office at The Warner Building, 1299 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, just three blocks from The White House (1600) and 3 blocks from FBI Headquarters (The Hoover Building at 901). Over ten years ago, I worked with the person in the lobby of that building and passed through there all the time. Neat to think I was standing in an actual place where a Grisham film was shot. For some dumb reason I never rode that escalator--not even to say I did it.
