What are fake Christmas trees made out of?
Does it vary? Do fake Christmas trees have dangerous chemicals in them?

Fake Christmas Trees are usually made of some sort of aluminum or plastic. These trees are made to look as close to the real thing as humanly possible and for the most part if you are even just a couple of feet away it would be hard to tell the difference. There have been a couple of dangers tied to fake trees. A great deal of fake trees are produced in China and as we have seen that particular country is not always great about making sure the lead content in their products is in the safe zone.
The plastics and PVC materials that make up the trees have a little bit of a lead content anyway, but California is so untrustworthy that the state has issued warnings about trees that are made in China.
