Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Here is part of the definition of Echinacea found on the http://anrvitamins.com/glossary website:

“Echinacea: Echinacea Root is the most effective blood and lymphatic cleanser in the botanical kingdom. It is a natural antibiotic, increases production and activity of white blood cells and stimulates the immune system. It removes toxins from the blood; acts as an immune stimulant that helps your body fight off illness by bolstering its natural defenses. It fights inflammation, and can stop a cold, flu, and other infectious illnesses before they can spread in the body.”

Here is the definition for Goldenseal found on the same website:

“Goldenseal Root: boosts a sluggish glandular system; helps regulate liver function; kills poison in the body. Golden Seal Root cleanses mucous membranes; aids in all digestive problems from peptic ulcers to colitis; fights infection and inflammation. It increases the effectiveness of insulin; strengthens the immune system, colon, liver, pancreas, spleen, lymphatic, and respiratory systems. It has been used to retard or stop a cold, flu, or sore throat from developing.”

These two herbal supplements have been used together to help boost the immune system. To learn more about these herbs you can go to the above website or http://en.wikipedia.org
