What are Clayton Homes' "iHomes"?

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Clayton Homes officially unveiled the eco-friendly "iHouse" last weekend during the Berkshire Hathaway shareholder's meeting. The company says the iHome is 30% more energy efficient than a traditional house, with energy costs of "less than $70 a month" - even less if you opt to have the solar panel system put in! Total cost? $74,900 for 723-square feet and $93,300 for the 1,023-square-foot model.

Would you buy an iHouse? Why or why not? I'm intrigued.
