In my opinion, if you're looking for a console targeted for kids, getting a Nintendo Wii would be a really good decision. Still, if you want an Xbox 360, it has its share of games that are perfect for kids to play. These include:
Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts
The Lego games like Harry Potter and Star Wars
Toy Story 3
Viva Pinata]
Beautiful Katamari
and Cars
These are just off the top of my head, so there's bound to be more games suited for kids. Also, don't forget about the Kinect peripheral for the Xbox 360. Kinect is starting to gain some ground now that it's out and a lot of its games are perfect for both kids and the casual crowd (something only the Wii was really targeting until now). Get a Kinect and you're bound to have a good time with your kids.
