What about favoriting/saving questions and answers?

When I flip through my newsfeeds I'll often star those items that seem like the kind of thing I want to come back to later. Couldn't we have something like this on Mahalo? A popular question might stay live and get a dozen answers (not to mention the comments) over just a couple of days, but if you only want to read it, not comment yourself, you'll have to go hunting for it as it scrolls farther down. How about a way to mark it as a favorite and have it show up someplace on your profile page?

Even better, how about flagging answers the same way? Every now and then somebody will offer a small novel of an answer with a dozen links in it. You don't have time to read them right that moment, but it would be great to have a way to keep it marked so you can go get it later.
Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I think this is a great idea. I can't tell you how many times I have to sort through questions to find the one I wanted. Good idea!!

While this may not be the perfect answer, it does give you some of the functionality you would see with a "favorite" option. Under each question is a "share this" link, included in the options here you will find both Google Bookmarks and Yahoo Bookmarks. If you set up an account and start saving them with these options you would be able to come back to them easily.

Again, certainly not as easy as it would be if it was built into Mahalo Answers but at least it is an option

I just bookmark things I want to come back to in Firefox.

But it would be neat to be able to save things in Mahalo itself.

This certainly can be done. This is a feature that many have requested. I believe it's one that will come in due time. Contact feedback@mahalo.com to request this.
