What a good site to save pictures on? I have pictures I only want my family to be able to access them. Free!

I have heard Flikr has a private option, I want to be able to upload pictures that are big enough to print on 4x6. Whats my options?
Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Flickr is your best choice. You have a range of privacy options, which you can set on your whole photostream, or just sets of pictures.

You can restrict viewing to the following categories:
Only You
Your Friends and/or Family
Your Contacts
Any Flickr User
Anyone

You can set these privacies on the following actions:
Who can download your stuff
Who can share your photos or video
Who can print your photos
Who can blog your stuff
Who can see your EXIF data(displays the make & model of the camera you used to take the shot.)
Whether or not your stuff comes up in searches.
Who can see what on your profile
Who will be able to see, comment on, or add notes to your pictures
What license will your content have
Who will be able to see your stuff on a map

You can set defaults for all of these, so you don't have to do it every time.

You can also give out "guest passes" which allow someone, even if they aren't a Flickr member, to see a particular private set.

When you upload your image, upload the largest file you have, and then whoever prints it can pick the size they want.

If you have a Windows Live account, or a HotMail account you can access Windows Live SkyDrive. SkyDrive is an online storage site that you can store up to 25 gig of files on it. You can make them public so anyone can see, private so only you can see them, or even add friends on Windows Live Spaces so that only your selected friends can see, or download your files. There is a upload limit of 50 MB per file. The best part is it is created by Microsoft. You should really check it out.

I\ve been using Fotki.com for almost 10 years. Love it! Very convenient and easy to store and share your photos.

I've really enjoyed Google's Picasa in the few months I've been using it. They give you a gig of storage with no upload limit, and you can sync your local & web gallery automatically. There are many other features in their interface as well if you need to do basic editing. It's no photoshop, but it's much freer.

There are really good privacy options for flickr, but you should also try out picasa (http://picasa.google.com/intl/en_us/whatsnew.html) and Kinzin (http://kinzin.com/)
