Wha´t your opinion about that medicine can prolong life?

I do not think medicine is going to prolong your life. The day you are going to die, is not going to change. You can take your medications. You can exercise. You can be careful. However, when is your time to go, you will die. I believe it has been decided already. Maybe God made the decision. Maybe someone or something else decided when you will die. All depends on your beliefs. But like my mom says, "Nobody dies the day before they suppose."

some medicines and surgeries prolong life. medical professionals now evaluate "quality of life" and present this to patients... i.e. they don't offer the immediate option of knee surgery on a 100 year old patient with a weak heart (because the heart may not survive anesthesia, etc. and rehabilitation from surgery)
