Were there more murder-suicides in 2008 compared to years prior? How about 2009?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

M$What I did find at

No more recent figures are available. Due to political pressure from the gun lobby and other right-wing groups, no government agency compiles centralized statistics on either suicides or homicides involving firearms.
The most information is compiled by social worker on this site.

It does seem like a trend, but without specific stats, it's hard to say!

M$Yeah, they ARE hard to find, huh? I don't know that it's the gun lobby, but it sure is a tough set of stats to find. I also found this site, which seems to say that there were LESS murder/suicides in 2007 than there were in 2002, but that doesn't help all that much.

Thanks, though!
