If you practice T'ai Chi or qigong (=chi gung), briefly (or more) share with me your experience.

You can organize your answer as follows:
(1) what is your type of practice routine
(2) how much you practice per day, and
(3) how it has changed your perception of life

I used to practice Sun-style Tai Chi. I actually have the DVDs of the teacher of my teacher... Unfortunately, there isn't enough room in my TV room to do the full form, so I haven't been practicing at all. I really need to get outside and do it... (Just do it!)

I LOVE Tai Chi and find it to be a great exercise as well as a great meditation. When I started doing push-hands, it really changed my outlook of how energy works and how practical that knowledge could be. I also took that thought process and use it in my therapy practice.

• Thanks for sharing your experience.

If you don't mind, I would like to know where you learned and who was your teacher's teacher. I haven't much knowledge of the Sun style, except that it is a mix of yang with other styles.

I have two pages that I made on Mahalo:

http://www.mahalo.com/qigong

There are short forms of Tai Chi that do not use much space. For instance I know a 13-form Yang style that can be practices in about a 5-foot square area. You could also try some qigong styles that require little or no footwork.
