Well this site update broke me. But that's not a question is it.
The right to left design will appeal to the Asian market among others, more intuitive. But the amount of information and how it's organized for a question and answer site is counter-intuitive for me. It looks like a social media site now but with no interesting blogs to read.
I look at the preview of the site in Safari and I'm not drawn in like I used to be. Each section looks like another, no visual separation anymore. I've been helping Mahalo earn money since 2009 but my earnings stopped last year with that change so what's my motivation for continuing to contribute?
The community. But this isn't a social media site and there are no rewards here that aren't better elsewhere (for people not on the payroll anyway) so it's a community that doesn't give back and is less interesting now. I didn't think a color/design change could keep me from participating but I prefer sites I visit to make sense without having to read a manual to get it, but if I had a CSS menu to select my preferred design it would have helped me stay interested. I guess you can put that into the suggestion box.
So I guess I'm finally done. The last of my tips goes to votes. Thanks all, it's been fun - mostly...

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.
