If you're an agility dog trainer, I'd stick with something like a Jack Russell.
If you're a farmer/rancher, I'd stick with something like a Australian Cattle Dog.
If you just like dogs, there's no way someone is going to convince you to like something better than the dog you love.

Is there any dog better than a Weimaraner, and why? You'll have to try very hard to convince me.
Be specific. Show examples of why any dog in the world could possibly be better than a weimaraner, perhaps using Youtube videos of other dogs doing impressive things.

Well, there are different breeds for different needs. If you're an agility dog trainer, I'd stick with something like a Jack Russell.
If you're a farmer/rancher, I'd stick with something like a Australian Cattle Dog.
If you just like dogs, there's no way someone is going to convince you to like something better than the dog you love.

We have had our Jack Russel Terrier for 7 years now, and I can't imagine a better breed of dog. She is playful, pretective, nurturing, sympathetic and incredibly loving. She knows when she has done something wrong, and in her own way always apologizes for it. She was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer last week, so we don't know how long she has left with us, but we DO know that she is irreplaceable.

I am partial to Labs. I've only recently become a dog owner and have a black lab. They are great, friendly, and absolutely love people, kids, another dogs. My lab (Angus) is a huge fan of Snow and Water. Here are a few links for you. You can always read and go see Marley & Me...
