You got all the crazy problems illustrated, the mortgage crisis, the economy, bogged down in war(s)...and you got change. Delivered by some old friends.

But you also ask for our favourite, the above isn't really my favourite, although its really good, on youtube I tagged about 100+ favourites this year. Personally I've been working on dredging videos for over three years now and my favourite consists of a good "find" a video that is so mindblowing you won't believe it... This clip is from the CBC up here in Canada, its the equivalent of the BBC in the UK. It's from a documentary called "The Bush Years" one that will surely need to be watched by anybody who gives an opinion on the legacy of 43 American president.
It is titled:
Bush and the head of Al-Zawahiri

What's your favorite YouTube video of 2008?
It would be great if they sort of summed up "the year that was" in addition to being hilarious or interesting. For example, Mitt Romney hates tigers:

Ah, what a year 2008 has been in YouTube. Here are the first 2 videos that came to mind since these songs have been stuck in my head ever since...

You ask for a video to sum up "The year that was" while I'm not American, I think this video really sums up the year. You got all the crazy problems illustrated, the mortgage crisis, the economy, bogged down in war(s)...and you got change. Delivered by some old friends.
