I do this all the time. You can't just click from one to another to another. But what you can do is start the episode, watch 15 seconds or so, then click to the first ad. Once the ad plays, click back to where you were (or just start over) and watch another 15 seconds. Then click to the second ad--it should show you the ad.
Once you watch around 15 seconds of the show, it allows you to click through each ad one after another after another.
This has always been really useful for me. It may be a little longer than 15 seconds, but you get the picture.

Is there a way to "watch" all Hulu ads at the beginning of the show/episode?
I remember reading an article a while ago about either a trick or a bug where you could have all commercials at the beginning. I can't seem to find that same article. If I remember correctly it had something to do with the way/time you refreshed.

Still seems that it cannot be achieved through any technique, but rather happens randomly. Haven't seen it once, so I guess I am out of luck.

I see you already found the article, but there is a way that is naturally offered by Hulu. This only happens every so often, but what you can do is watch a big clip at the beginning instead of a bunch of smaller clips. When the video starts, it offers you a choice of a 1 minute 30 second commercial or the normal group of commercials. This might only work for certain length movies and shows though (45 minutes or so), but I don't know that much about it. Hope this helps.
