Does anyone use Bit-torrents? What is your opinion of that system?
I tend to use it as a filtering system. Meaning, I'll download something I'm kind-of interested in. If I like it I'll buy it.

bit torrents and bit comet are pretty ok so as long as u have a good firewall or great anti-virus. when using a bit torrent, it is always best to use a search engine like isohunt.com. i have never had any problems with it
It is a great system and is not just used for pirated material (World of Warcraft uses a torrent for it patches and updates; that is the only way to get the update).
I recommend the program utorrent.com. It is very light weight (uses very little system resources), is very stable, is free, and is easy to use.
For finding torrents, I recommend the following:
http://thepiratebay.org/
http://www.mininova.org/
