When should someone choose to use Amazon Web Services to host website images, as opposed to their regular web host?
Just curious - should we be using Amazon Web Services to host and serve all the images on our website? When is this something that a company should consider doing, over just hosting them locally on a server?

1) Hosting space - saves on disk room when hosting large files, meaning you can have less space in your own servers, saving money
2) Bandwidth - saves transferring large amounts of data across, you are using someone elses bandwidth allocation, saving money
3) External backup - not wanting to keep important files on your own hardware for ease of mind
4) Uptime - services like Amazon have guarantees on uptime, whereas your own company will not be as bound to this internally
