I'm not sure if it is the best, but we've used ScrewTurn Wiki at my work in the past and it does have source download available.

Did ScrewTurn work well for you? Did it have sufficient features/usability?

I believe it had all of the functionality you would expect from a Wiki platform. I wasn't responsible for the maintenance of it and was just involved in general use so unfortunately can't answer in much more detail.

ScrewTurn has been the best option for me, I also had a lot of luck with DotNetWiki (both on the link provided above: http://csharp-source.net/open-source/wiki-engines

They are both very flexible and easily customizable. Screwturns ability to run on XML is great for transportation of everything if that is on the horizon. Both are great programs and I encourage you to check them out, but overall, I would say that ScrewTurn is the best developed and supported Wiki for .Net - it also has a great community to help with modifications, themes and questions.

Another good place to check out for WIkis is http://www.wikimatrix.org

Good luck!
