How long before Python 3.0 is widely adopted?
Python 3.0 was just released and is not compatible with previous versions. I'm wondering how long before it becomes the defacto standard for python programmers. How long do you think this will take? What does this mean for frameworks like Django?

• Nice cite on the Django discussion. They talk about some of the hurdles they'll face, but I think large projects like that will be much more capable of adapting.

Tomorrow, if everyone could find the python 2 to python 3 script helpfully provided! This means someone needs to run the conversion script and deal with any conflicts that occur for django or any other python source code.
