It's hard to say, it looks like just a generic message board, you could start by branching out and maybe starting a community blog, use it to maybe log your best threads or discuss community matters, you could also make it the homepage of your website and have the msg board as an offshoot, the blog would do much better in search engines and be more attractive to lure in potential new users.

It's also hard to judge your community when everything is blocked from view unless your registered. Few people register for website for the simple pleasure of seeing content they don't know about.
