Techncailly however, professional webmasters would use a PHP case statement. If you're just getting into online development, this would be a REALLY great project to use as your first dip into PHP.

As far as economical I believe they still offer a 60 day free trial ( or if your list/visitors) are under a certain amount it is free.

You can also embed reports in a webpage, export to xls, or PDF. I use the system constantly for grad school and work. It's versatile, dead simple, and best of all, FREE!

Can anyone recommend an economic Online Survey system which sends auto reports depending on the answers
For example, I offer life change holidays and am asking a series of questions about belief systems, lifestyle, meditation, goal setting etc. Each answer will have an assigned numeric value which the system should total. Depending on the total, the system would send one of several report messages. Does anyone know a system that does this economically. Thanks a lot!

I wouldn't recommend using a cloud computing option for surveys if you need to keep the survey data forever, a self hosted option is more secure.

Constant contact will do this for you, as well as track all information provided, time completed ect! As far as economical I believe they still offer a 60 day free trial ( or if your list/visitors) are under a certain amount it is free.

I use google docs for this. They have a handy form system that is both emailable and embeddable. The results are dumped into a spread sheet that you can program to analyze the data however you want. Updates can be tracked via email and RSS. You can also embed reports in a webpage, export to xls, or PDF. I use the system constantly for grad school and work. It's versatile, dead simple, and best of all, FREE!
