Mahalo is adding a tip to all questions that don't offer a tip.
Anyone know why Google Webmaster Tools re-verification needed to get site indexed?
I use Google Sites and successfully verified my website a month or two ago. When I couldn't find the site on Google Search today I checked my Webmaster Tools account. Lo and behold I needed to verify the website. It appears the meta-tag changed and replacing the old tag with the new one allows the site to be verified again. I'm looking for an explanation that is supposedly on Google Blog but I didn't find one.
