Same goes for more complex and 3D or photo effects - usually designer takes the basic font, and applies effects in his/hers chosen application.
If you seek some specific effect, you may choose the font you like and ask a designer to apply or help you to apply that effect to the font - OR - you may just want to hire someone to do the whole searching for font and designing all together.

What's a good free font that is in color and kind of looks like carved stone?
A good free font website with lots of color fonts would be useful, too.

dafont.com as mentioned above is a great site to look for free fonts, but please understand that fonts usually come in black color and user (the designer) would fill font with any color or texture he/she likes. Same goes for more complex and 3D or photo effects - usually designer takes the basic font, and applies effects in his/hers chosen application.

Thanks for trying, but imo those are pretty ugly.
I gave up and just ended up gimping up some beveled edges.
