IT is usually not learned in college unless its engineering. I mean you can learn coding in a computer science degree and I suppose learn the principles involved in building programs but your probably not going to learn a current language because this stuff changes fast. With webpage design I suspect its even worse these languages are almost like living languages. I mean i'm sure if you know nothing than a college will teach you enough to get you into the field but what's going to make you a pro your going to have too learn on your own. And those cutting edge technologies like Silverlight, GoogleWave 3, and WebOS. All of which are linked to web coding languages. You might spend your time looking a certifications in that field. In IT often certifications mean more than degrees.
