There are a lot of variables in the determination of market salary:
- Years of experience
- References from past employers
- Personal chemistry and work ethic
- Location
You can get a personalized Compensation report from PayScale.com. You enter your own personal qualifications and location by taking their survey and PayScale will show you the range of market Salaries to expect.
I put in some of the variables you suggested for a position as "Web Developer" working for a Web Development company. I assumed 3 years of experience, working in Seattle.
I got salary ranges from $41,000 to $73,000 with a median value of $54,000.
If you work as a contractor you should expect to receive a 30% premium on your hourly rate - BUT - you will have to work hard to source clients and you will not likely be able to work full time until you build a clientele and reputation for yourself.
I'd definitely suggest going to PayScale to check out your own personalized data. Note, they will ask you for an email address - but I don't think they will spam you - they are a reputable Seattle area company (I am NOT affiliated with them).
Good luck!

sorry if i went off topic, its hard to stay on topic with your skill experience. if you were 100% in a couple areas you would have more options to choose... I have almost the same knowledge, maybe more in some of your lesser areas, and still cant find a salary job.

I am not sure it is enough to get a job, but I live in a university town where every student knows more than that, which means more than me: I have the same basics as you (I am 70 yrs old and could not find a job with it because so many younger people know more) Take what you can get, then improve what you know.

as the field in which you are aiming at does require more information than what you know... you could go the freelance route instead of salary... where as you set a base price of what your doing.. say webdesign for instance... 25 - $35 an hr is reasonable price. It also depends on what youve previously done. if the company your building the site for, does it have an online identity or are you creating one for them?... does the website require maintance and updates in which you will have to make?... all these options can bump your price range... sorry if i went off topic, its hard to stay on topic with your skill experience. if you were 100% in a couple areas you would have more options to choose...
