Mahalo is adding a tip to all questions that don't offer a tip.
How do i add folders to the bookmark pull down in firefox so i can store related links by selecting the folder when a page is displayed?
i seem to be able to add folders using "Organize Bookmarks" but they are never visible on the Bookmarks pulldown, nor do they appear as an option when saving a bookmark.

• Yes, this is the right answer. Shame on Firefox for making it this complicated (don't think you had to go through this in 1.5 or 2.0

Hi Wilma92010, did you click "Choose..." to see more folders during the pulldown?

You click on the Bookmarks tab at the top of the page and then click "Organize Bookmarks" once here, on the left, highlight "Bookmarks Menu". Now right-click on the right side of the page and click Make Folder, you can rename it and do whatever you want and drag your bookmarks into it. Make sure you make the folder in the Bookmarks Menu.
