Assuming you are using Windows OS, FF stores the temp internet files in

\Documents and Settings\$yourLogin\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\s6rldwk9.default\Cache

You can configure size of the cache folder but not the location.

But you select where you want to store the downloaded files

Local settings folder is hidden by default in Windows. you need to set it to show the hidden files to view the folders under local settings.

Folder name under "\Documents and Settings\$yourLogin" "\Profiles\s6rldwk9.default" and may vary based on your user id.

Copy and pasting this wont work, you need to navigate to the cache folder based on your user id.

I think you would click on History, then show all history. Works for me!

go to Start->Run and type in/copy and paste
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\4krz7144.default\Cache

If that doesn't work for you, you can view the actually directory location by opening a new Firefox window/tab and typing in

about:cache

and looking for the path file.

this will display window with following text...

Storage in use: 0 KiB
Cache Directory: C:\Documents and Settings\Wel-Come\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\o60mnuqk.default\OfflineCache

After that click on "list cache entries" under "disk cache device"
it will list u all entries stored on your disk..
you can access these files directly as these are configured as octet stream..
