After using Google Chrome as my main browser of choice, is their any in-browser add-on for instant messaging?

I would like to have my buddy list and conversations open within my browser, anyone know of something that could do this?

Hi kenman345,

I am a strong user for Google Chrome, being my favoured search engine. I believe that you are talking about messaging programs that work inside your broswer.

I recommend you try the following:

Meebo

Probably the best of them all, with a simple user interface. It allows access into the six top IM programs.

eBuddy

Not as good as the leading Meebo but the "second option". It is a more unpleasing user interface and is more a AIM and MSN IM programs that it works with.

KoolIM

Very basic IM but has more choice in the IM's it provides

MessengerFX

A more creative and pleasing user interface, which is for MSN Messenger only.

Thanks for choosing me as best answer! I recommend you choose Meebo - but these are alternative options as well.

Google Chrome 1.0 does not come with in-browser add-on feature. Google Chrome 2.0 might come with in-browser add-on feature. Or you can use web instant messaging such as Meebo or E Buddy. Google Chrome supports such web instant messaging.
