Are there any internet browser extensions (or similar software) that make it possible to "edit" any web page, like a wiki?
I've been wondering whether there is anything that could be used for this purpose. I'm basically trying to find a "wiki" of Greasemonkey scripts, if such a thing exists.

The Web Developer add-on for Firefox lets you edit the source or generated html and css of any page you are looking at, of course, you can only save locally unless you have authorization to save back to a site.
There are many other functions built in to reveal components of a page, including hidden ones, to test code for standards compliance and to debug pages.

Once you save html and css locally, you can then edit with the Content Management System of your choice.

I'm not sure your question is clear, but I'll take a crack at what I think you might mean. =)
There is nothing that would allow you to edit any page on the web, as sites are privately owned and managed. Imagine if someone could go to the Dell site or The White House site or any other site out there and change anything on it!
That being said, Google Sidewiki comes close. It is a little program from Google that lets you leave comments in a sidebar on any website. You can add links and make it long or short. It does not change the actual website, just adds your comments to the side.
You have to install it to make your comments, and only those who have it installed will see your comments.
Did I get close to what you meant?

Yes, I was looking for something very similar to this, but not exactly like it...
...if you are admin of website or user/editor with admin rights then you can edit CMS based website that allow editing directly from website or admin area. There are any CMS website and templates.. for example my travel blog is running on Wordpress and theme AdvNewPaper. After I login into admin area I can edit pages and post from admin area or directly from website.(edit button will show up on the page). hope that helps.
