You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

This sounds like a homework quesstion, so I won't answer it completely. I will suggest you look towards Archimedes principle, as well as the make up of the martian atmosphere.

I respect that you don't want to do someone's homework for them.
The problem with this answer is that it doesn't provide much helpful information, but because you answered the question will be closed and voted on, and you will likely get best answer.
It might seem to some people like you just used the homework thing as an excuse to be lazy. Certainly you could have provided a little more help than just 2 wikipedia links?
Commenter, I appreciate your opinion. However, as a math and physics teacher, I believe I gave enough information for this person to solve the question on their own. This question is not a math problem. It involves simpler algebra. The difficult part in doing this problem is interpreting the physics, so that is where my information was pointed toward. If the asker has a problem of a differerent sort, let them reply and ask another, more focused question stating, even vaguely, what he/she feels is difficult or confusing.
