Well...they can't be classified as watercraft and they can't be classified as aircraft. They aren't transportation so as far as I can tell they are just another entertainment device and fall under no more regulation than a pair of skis. Of course I'm sure that product safety Nazis will feel differently as soon as someone manages to kill himself with one.

Currently there are no laws against the Jetlev, according to the website the only qualification is that your basically a good swimmer.
