Was there ever a Roman battle in history where the losers were cruxified? There would have been people for miles.

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

"Crassus had 6,000 of Spartacus'men crucified along the Appian Way between Capua and Rome – a distance of about 200 kilometres"

If I remember well, the scene with countless crosses can be seen in the famous movie Spartacus

In fact crucifixion was a common Roman punishment, Jesus itself was supposedly nailed on cross by Romans.
The Third servile war in which the slaves led by Spartacus(a former gladiator) rebelled happened between 73 and 71 BC
