Whenever I think of Anne Hathaway, I think of her in movies like Princess Diaries and The Devil Wears Prada. A goofy, comical character she is, sexy catwoman, she's not.
There is no way she can pull off what Halle Berry did as catwoman, and that's the latest thing we have to compare to.
They needed to get someone who can play a roll like that, and I really don't think she can. I hope she surprises me, but I kind of think it will ruin the movie if she fails to achieve what is desired from the role.
I'm not saying I want Megan Fox or Angelina Jolie to play the role, but either of them would have been a much better choice. At least, in the qualities needed in Catwoman.
I think someone like Kate Beckinsale, Natalie Portman, or even Mila Kunis would be good. They've played the dark roles, and have the capability to be what is needed. Also, they are huge right now, and have bigger followings than Anne Hathaway, so you would get an even bigger box office draw!

she doesn't have the strong look or the personality to carry it off..
i would prefer Megan fox...she would surely do it justice..
loved her in the movie Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen..she carried off a strong bitchy personality..
plus she is absolutely gorgeous..

M$If Nolan and co. have written a good Catwoman and they feel Anne Hathaway can fill that role, I believe she can do it. Though the female characters in the Batman series so far has seriously been lacking in depth and interest. Hopefully Hathaway and Catwoman can fix that trend.
Nothing better than an awesome femme fatale that could keep the audience and Batman on the edge of their seats.

To a point, I agree (though I agree with @bunnyphuphu about getting a little meat on her), but my *hope* is, maybe *this* will be her breakout sexy hot girl role!!
And after thinking about it - yes, I agree, Milla Kunis would be puuurrrrfect....
