So I see the conflict that the author may have intended, but only because you raise the question.

Only because you suggest that it might. I see a dinosaur and a christmas-y message, which, because you suggest it might be controversial, raises the question of what the author meant. However, if I saw it in a store, I probably wouldn't think twice. The segment of my family that is closest to the parody of religious right actually have a son whose room is filled with toy dinosaurs, and who used to walk around as a T-Rex all the time. So I doubt this card would raise much conflict in those belief systems. A lot of Christians who oppose evolution also believe that Christmas itself is a lie, imposed by Catholics. So they probably would find the card out of bounds on two counts, but not necessarily in conflict. So I see the conflict that the author may have intended, but only because you raise the question.
