What are the best online resources for someone wanting to learn to be a cartoonist?

I majored in Art in college (way back) and am interested in learning to create an actual web comic with characters, story, plot, etc. So far, my early attempts have not been that great. I recently purchased Drawing Words & Writing Pictures and will be going through their 15 week course http://www.dw-wp.com but I'd love to know about any other online resources I should be digging through regularly.
