What's the easiest way for me to play Full Throttle and the Monkey Island Series?
I'm going to go on a Lucasfilm Games/Lucasarts' history tour before the Tim Shafer (Brutal Legend) and Ron Gilbert (Deathspank) games come out later this year.

Unfortunately, LucasArts does not make it easy to get their old games. They are not available from game download sites like Steam, Gametap, or Good Old Games. The easiest and cheapest way to play would be to buy used from Amazon.com then play them with a program called ScummVM. Since many of the old games will not work out of the box on newer versions of Windows, ScummVM takes all the guess work out of it. You install it. Point it at the games files. Then you enjoy your game in beautiful full screen with optional graphics filtering to make it look less pixelly.
So, unfortunately, it's going to cost you about $25 to get both games, but that's the only easy legal way right now.

The Secret of Monkey Island has now been added to Steam, along with a number of other (GREAT!) older/classic LucasArts games.
