I looked at other FAQs and they say the same thing.

What happened was that in the last step I said to pour the 16 into the 7, which would've been impossible since it would've put 8 quarts into the 7 quart pitcher. There was also a typo in step 14 where i said that the amounts were (1-9-7) instead of (1-9-6) which probably caused the initial confusion.
