All my friends who are competitive fighting game players, are getting it since it's a fine stick and rather a good price for the quality (I myself can't at the moment due to a small lack of money, but hopefully in the future).

Will you be buying the custom Street Fighter 4 arcade joystick from Mad Catz for $69.99?

And as a side-question, which do you find a more fluid, fast controlling device for fighting games: these arcade style controllers, or a good gamepad?

If you want to be at the top of your game, you definitely need an arcade stick. Gamepad's just don't let you access all the buttons at every instant like an arcade stick does. Also doing fine movements for the more complex chains and links is harder on a smaller dpad/analogue stick, then it would be on an arcade stick. No, but I've already pre-ordered the $149.99 one. As a serious fighting game player, high-quality products like this are impossible to pass up. Though I did get backordered on my arcade stick, so I'll have to play with my current slightly shoddy one for the time being, which sucks.
