What video games are you most looking forward to in 2009?

I'm personally looking forward to Resident Evil 5, MadWorld, and BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams. I'm not sure if 2009 can even compare to the huge blockbuster listing of amazing games that were released in 2008, but I guess it's still too early to tell.

What video game or games are you most looking forward to next year?

Final Fantasy XIII - I am excessively stoked about an FF game being released for Xbox. Since my PS2 bit the dust about two years ago, I've missed out on quite a few games and the fact that I won't have to miss another FF game thrills me.

Heavy Rain - Just the tech demos got me all revved up. I hope this game lives up to its promise. It is just beautiful. And Indigo Prophecy was a good game, so I don't think fans will be disappointed. (Too bad it's PS3-exclusive so far...)

2009 Hopefuls - aka still no official release dates
Deus Ex 3 - The original Deus Ex was groundbreaking at the time and simply a thrilling and satisfying game to play. It satisfied both the RPG and FPS itch for gamers. The second game wasn't quite as good and was a little disappointing, to be honest. Hopefully the 5+ years since its release will only result in good things for Deus Ex 3, even if it's no longer the original developer.

Diablo 3 - No definite release date yet, but a girl can dream.

• Yeah, Final Fantasy XIII is a huge 2009 game, I'm definitely looking forward to that one. Heavy Rain I'm not so sure about yet, will have to see more of the game before making a decision about it, but we'll see.

Diablo 3 is another one on my "2009 Most Wanted List" along with Halo Wars, and other.
